The worst-selling car in Canada in 2011 was the Acura ZDX, or the Honda Insight, or the Saab 9-5. It depends how you shake the numbers.
Based on the rules GoodCarBadCar lays out at the bottom of this post, no vehicle found fewer buyers in Canada last year than the Saab 9-5. But do we consider the 9-5 a candidate for worst seller status when Saab is dead? If not, that makes the Acura RL Canada's worst-selling car, a status it definitely deserves.
And do we consider the Honda Insight a candidate for worst seller status when Honda Canada all but ignored the Insight over the last year? If not, that makes the Nissan 370Z Canada's worst-selling car, only the 370Z's $40,978 makes the Nissan sports car more worthy of the premium list, leaving the Nissan Cube to headline the second table.
GoodCarBadCar configured Canada's 2010 worst-selling cars list quite differently, but it's worth a look for a bit of comedy. The U.S. versions of these tables can be viewed here, and don't forget you can always find monthly and yearly sales figures for these models and every other nameplate on sale by accessing the dropdown menu at the top right of this page.
