Commercial Van Sales In America - May 2015 YTD

The Ford Transit and its predecessor, the Ford E-Series, generated a 13% year-over-year sales increase in May 2015 and owned 51% of the full-size commercial van market in the United States.

AS a result of sharp declines from GM's full-size twins and sliding Nissan NV sales, the full-size category was down 5% in May.

Small commercial van sales, on the other hand, were up 31%. Ford owned more than half that sub-category, as well: 57%, to be precise. Transit Connect volume rose 8% last month.
