U.S. SUV/Crossover Sales By Model - May 2016 YTD
General Motors owned 71.6% of the category in the U.S. in May 2016, down only slightly from 72.0% in May 2015. But it was the Ford Expedition's 22% year-over-year increase produced the real shake-up in the category in May.
Indeed, on year-to-date terms, Expedition volume is up by 3420 units through the first five months of 2016. Segment-wide sales are up 2% this year.

Familiar with the Infiniti QX80? Reduce the luxury content, and there's your new Armada. Infiniti sold 1424 such QX80s in May. Lincoln sold 851 Expedition-based Navigators. Total Cadillac Escalade volume rose 11% to 2943 units.
