Large Luxury SUV Sales In America - November 2015 YTD

Nissan's upmarket Infiniti division recorded a 23-month high in QX80 sales in November 2015 with a 32% surge to 1737 sales. The QX80 didn't sell as often as the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class – soon to be renamed GLS – but the QX80 outsold Cadillac's regular wheelbase Escalade, sales of which slid 21% to 1672.

Land Rover produced a significant 57% year-over-year increase to 1598 November Range Rover sales, making November the 14th consecutive month in which Range Rover sales climbed into four-digit territory.

Lexus reported a 21% increase in sales of the revamped-for-2016 LX570. 

Though the LX and its twin, the Toyota Land Cruiser, remain low-volume flagship luxury SUVs, their joint market share in the category grew from 6.7% in November 2014 and 3.8% in October 2015 to 7.9% in November 2015.
